This class focused on graduate-level data collection and analysis. For the final paper, we were assigned to analyze one type of communication style and conduct our own research, as well as construct a literature review of important articles from distinguished scholars. My final paper investigates empathic communication. I propose that age and education level might be significant factors in the practice of empathic communication. These areas should be further studied by researchers in the field.
